Transportation Programs
The RSVP Transportation Programs provide rides for the low income elderly for whom no other appropriate transportation is available. RSVP does not charge for rides, but does accept donations. Without this vital transportation, many seniors could not access vitally needed medical services, especially in the rural areas. They would live shorter lives and in many instances be prematurely institutionalized. RSVP transportation programs are located in Carson City, Dayton, Fernley, Yerington and the River District in Storey County.
