A HISTORIC EVENT The 4th of July & Fireworks Event, held in July during the July 4th weekend, celebrates 29 years of event history in our state's Capital City. Winner of the Carson City Chamber of Commerce 2016 Event of the Year! Every year, local residents and the many visitors to our area are drawn to our city which has been voted one of the best state Capital cities in the nation! The event celebrates local culture, tradition and recognition of our nation's Independence.

48 Years in the Making The 4th of July Fireworks Event is a fundraiser for Nevada Rural Counties RSVP Program, Inc. (RSVP), which provides high quality volunteer-delivered services that have been in place for 45 years. RSVP is a community-based non-profit that helps seniors maintain their dignity, self-respect and independence, and avoid costly long-term institutional care. RSVP volunteers help with transportation, respite care, companionship, homemaker services, personal emergency response systems and much more.

ONE OF A KIND EXPERIENCE  The 4th of July Event wil be held on July 4th 2022 at Mills Park in Carson City. The event features a stunning display of fireworks on July 4th at sundown, live music, and great food.

Additionally, your donations helps delivery critical services for seniors, Veterans, and adults with disabilities. For example, $1,000 can provide 200 escorted door-to-door transportation trips to medical, dental and vision appointments, grocery shopping, or trips to the senior center.
