Nevada COVID-19 Aging Network (Nevada CAN)
Nevada Rural RSVP is proud to be part of Nevada COVID-19 Aging Network.
Nevada CAN is a statewide initiative led by the Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division in an effort to support the needs of older adults during the COVID-19 pandemic. This resource aims to connect older adults with important supports and services, delivered through trusted government organizations and not-for-profits, to help ensure that older adults have the support they need to stay at home during this time.
Nevada 211, a program of the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, is committed to helping Nevadans connect with the services they need.
Go to their website linked in the image to the left to find resources on 'Housing & Shelter,' 'Disability Services,' 'Health Care,' 'Transportation,' and many more!
Now in its 23rd year, the Community Resource Guide for older adults in Northwest Nevada communities is available. The Guide includes 86 pages of resources across 21 categories.
The annual publication is a project of the ElderCare Program, First United Methodist Church, Carson City; Shirley B. Whitcome; and Silver State Industries.
